Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

Hivecut is management software for barbershops, operated from Argentina. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected].

1. Data we handle

Account and business data: registration, business and configuration data of the barbershops that use Hivecut.
Data loaded by a business: data about its staff and clients (name, phone, etc.) and operational data (sales, appointments, cash). The business decides what to load and is responsible for having a legal basis to do so. For that data, Hivecut acts as a service provider on behalf of the business.
Clients who book online: the identity provided by the sign-in service (for example, name and email from Google, if you choose to sign in with Google) and what you enter in the booking form (for example, phone). We use it only to manage your booking with that barbershop.
People who contact us: name, email, phone, Instagram and the message you send through the demo form on this site, plus the country it was sent from (provided by our hosting provider based on the connection; we do not keep your city) and the language of the page. We use it to reply and to schedule the demo.
Form protection: the forms on this site use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots, and we record the IP address of each submission for 2 days to limit abuse.
Visits to this site: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you. The English version of this site does not use advertising cookies or the Meta Pixel. If you close the language notice, your browser keeps a small note so it is not shown again.
Technical data: minimal logs for security and operation. In the app, a session cookie keeps you signed in.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the service (business management, bookings, support, security and service emails such as booking confirmations and account notices) and to reply to inquiries and schedule demos. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for targeted advertising. If we ever send you promotional emails, each one will include a link to unsubscribe.

3. Isolation between businesses

Each business can only access its own data. This isolation is enforced at the database level, not only in the application.

4. Service providers and where data is stored

Our database is hosted in Brazil (São Paulo). Some providers that run the service (hosting and network, email delivery, mailboxes and backups) process data in the United States and other countries. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
Sign-in: Google, when a client chooses it, under Google's privacy policy.
Form protection and site statistics: Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare Web Analytics, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Payments: subscription payments are processed by a payment provider. Hivecut does not store card numbers.

5. Retention and security

We keep account data while the account is active. After cancellation, the business can request an export of its data for a reasonable period; after that, the data may be deleted.
Demo requests that do not move forward: if a request has no activity for 3 months, or is discarded, we delete the personal data of the person who made it from our system within 3 more months. We keep only anonymous data for statistics.
Backups: automatic backup copies are deleted within 30 days.

We apply reasonable security measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access control, isolation between businesses at the database level and automatic backups. No system is 100% secure. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you or the business, as required by law.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, get a copy of it, object to its use or withdraw a consent you gave, by writing to [email protected]. It is free and we reply within 15 days. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will tell you why, and you can reply to that email to ask us to review the decision. If the data was loaded by a business (for example, your client record at a barbershop), we will forward your request to that business, which is responsible for it.

7. Children

Hivecut is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Bookings for minors should be made by a parent or guardian. If we learn that we received data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it.

8. United States residents

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across third-party websites, so "Do Not Track" signals do not change how we handle your data. Even though we do not sell data, you can send a request not to sell your data to [email protected].

9. Users in Brazil

If you are in Brazil, see the Portuguese version of this policy, which describes how we apply the LGPD (Law 13.709/2018).

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If we make material changes, we will notify businesses with an account by email at least 30 days before they apply, and changes will not apply retroactively to data already collected without your consent.
